I think that I have adjusted to the time difference from Los Angeles (-8 hours). I had booked a deep tissue massage for 9:00 AM. All I can say is for the small woman she was I might have to file assault charges. My little Indian masseuse beat the hell out of me. I was feeling sore for the next three days.
After the massage, I just wanted to go exploring. I like to people watch, so I was checking out the activities in the sky diving simulator, the Flowrider and the basketball court. I just walked around taking pictures of the different activities then quenching my thirst with some alcoholic drinks. I did buy the drinking package, and I’m not into wasting money well spent.
I took a little bit of a rest then decided to get up for dinner and realized it was formal night. Honestly, I had no ambition to get dressed up in a suit or tuxedo, even though I brought them with me. Since I had purchased the 5-meal plan at the specialty restaurants, I decided to see if I could get into Izumi. Izumi, as you can tell my the name, is a Japanese sushi restaurant. The host was able to sit me at the bar area next to the chefs that make all the great dishes. The chefs for the night were Amman and Rozel. Sitting at the bar, I was able to chat with the chefs throughout the meal, which was a lot of great food.
Even though the prepaid dinner package included a small starter, 2 dinner plates and a dessert, Rozel gave me another plate to try. It was so much food but delicious.
After dinner, I went to the Schooner bar. I can only assume that the reason I met a lot of Canadians is because the cruise ended in Seattle. I try to never miss an opportunity to promote my business. Antonio, the bartender, stated that he was worried about his upcoming Royal Caribbean yearly physical where they check his BMI. After that, I gave him my card and told him what I told everyone I met. Tomorrow, the ship is docking at the city of Aomori and I booked a Hirosaki sightseeing tour. I can’t wait to see more of Japan, especially the cherry blossoms.
